Chris Greenacre, born on 23 December 1977, is an English football manager and former player. He commenced his professional career with Manchester City in 1996. Greenacre is best known for his time at Tranmere Rovers, where he made a significant impact with 160 appearances and 53 goals between 2005 and 2009. He joined Tranmere Rovers on a free transfer from Stoke City in 2005 and later moved to Wellington Phoenix FC on a free transfer in 2009, where he eventually ended his 17-year playing career. Currently, he is the head coach of Wellington Phoenix FC Reserves and has recently been appointed as the head coach of the New Zealand Men's U-20 team.
